Is there a way to post pics other than thru a hosting site?

You can upload directly using the Full Editor version listed below this entry pane. there may be a minimum number of posts required before you can do it, but I don't know that for sure.

Also, the size is limited, so you may need to resize your pictures before uploading. The editor gives you that size value.
