Wow! It is 155.9 for regular in Abbotsford today. Electric cars are looking better and better.

It bounced here in White Rock from 1.83..then back to 1.77. ( regular)

I really do feel for those in lower income, that have to commute and get creamed by this nightmare of traffic we have and get ZERO MPG sitting in traffic idling.

Last time I bought gas was 2020. Still have 1/4 tank. At this rate I may not drive my 710 at all this year. Again.

My wife has had a Nissan Leaf for 7 years now. Last year she upgraded to the newest model last year. 6 bucks to go 200 plus miles isn't bad. They are great rigs. I'll stick with my 1992 and older Nissan's though.

Afternoon World.

Well, we finally did it, $2.00/litre today for regular, Chevron 94 is $2.27 basically, so $10.317/imp gallon.

Truly 100 bucks to fill up a 510 now.

I am Sure glad I'm retired now, it would be 166.00 to fill up
my G35, which for a month of my commute would have been $665 bucks+.

It is getting pretty crazy. 6h of operation on my kubota excavator uses 70L of diesel. It is getting pretty expensive filling it up every day.

My new '70 Dart used premium @ $0.32 a gallon. That's 7.03 cents per liter. A fill up was about $5 or in beer, a 24.

last year i was in the ram 1500 doing 575km a 5 day work week, when the gas went up then i was paying 130 buck a tank and lucky if i got 530km out of it. i now have a subaru crosstrek 6speed manual, doing the same 575km a week i can get up to 700 km out of a a tank but i drive kinda hard and fast so 600km is about what i get. and friday at 192.9 i filled up for 85 bucks. i'm so glad i made the switch from the ram.

Hey Mike,

As we are the same vintage, when my friend had his 69' Roadrunner ( in 1969), fuel at the time was .35 cents a gallon at the Gulf station in Richmond, and we would go through a tank in one drive downtown and back, with a half dozen "stop light" drags done!

This was '70 and in southern Onterrible, maybe cheaper out east. 15 gallon tank usually got 15 MPG. In two years I put over 75,000 miles on it. I went everywhere, fast in it. So glad I was born back then and owned a muscle car. Drove friend's '69 GTO, another's '69 Dart 340, 71 Duster with 4:11s and a '69 440 Charger R/T (automatic) but plant it at 45 MPH and it would down shift and light the tires. Another time, another age, it's all just memories now.

Yep,when I bought my 510 in October 72 I filled it for around $3.00. On another note it is it’s 50th birthday this month. The build date is 3/72. My how time flies.

Still wish I had those prices

Here in the Netherlands it's 2,42 euro/liter cheapest petrol station nearby. Which is 3,39 Canadians per liter.

Thanks for sharing, as it puts things in perspective. Suddenly it feels like a bargain here :) It is also a clear signal as to the path of this whole inflation thing. Is the plan to push us into electric cars because we can't afford petrol?
