WTB: 68 JDM Grill Emblem

Post by KCMO_68 »

I'm looking for the 68 JDM Grill Emblem. If you have one for sale, know of one for sale, know of a replica producer please let me know.

I know it's not an easy part to find, but I've decided that I'm not going to settle and I'm going to keep looking. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Here is an example I found online: http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn15 ... C01202.jpg

Would also message tokyo_2u on eBay, he parts 510s all the time. And there's the home-country auction site:

Here is the North American 68 Standard Grill and Grill Emblem.

The emblem was the same on the Deluxe, however the grill had added bars.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't even realize that the badge was for the Deluxe only.

I've tried the Japan auction site, and in fact lost an auction for this badge once before. It got sniped from me at the last moment, and my contact in Japan wasn't available at that exact moment.

The picture I first posted shows it on the USDM grill. I see now that it's not the grill it originally came with, but my question is does it still fit fine on the USDM grill, or do you have to change the USDM grill somehow to make it work?

Anyone know?

I'm lucky enough to have one of these badges. Been a while since I have laid eyes on it, but the backing is flat like the standard badge, still has 2 bolt style fittings on it for standard fitment, only thing I haven't checked is bolt spacing, but you would assume they would be the same.

I'd love to get a mold taken of it one day if I get around to it, but don't think I'll ever sell it sorry.
