I would say Covid has kicked the hell out of them, Website not updated in a long time (2019), so only time will tell. I'm sure as long as there are no issues with the land/property, they will be back when able.

I think you are correct there. A year or so ago before Covit and travel restrictions hit, I had teed up to go to the Sacramento Mile as I was working in the area. That's one of the Grand-daddy events. Maybe next year when things have settled down.

Video from a Dutch TV program from 1985 which is called "Wrak van de weg" / "Wreck of the road".
This is where they show a car which is impounded by the police which is.. a total wreck. Too dangerous to be on the road.
They will show whats wrong on the car and later on demolishing the car.
This show it's a Datsun B210/120Y. And yes I know the Dutch language sounds horrible..

Yah, thanks for posting that link up. That was a fun night we went to see the movie.
I do have a copy on DVD and still watch it.
It still reminds me of the early days at Specialty, with Andy thinking outside of the box on so many things on our 510's.
It still laugh when I see that sign in Burt's garage....which again we have at Specialty....not many got that, the night we saw the film together.

Seeing that video of his bike getting fired up fired me up too because I ended up watching the movie again.
Here is Roger Donaldson's original documentary.

I wonder what grade that was, some of the shots made it look quite steep. Lots of hours & $$ in those restorations.
