What kind of problems are you considering, airflow? There's always the vent windows if nice weather. If they are to be added later, that doesn't pose a problem. I cut the holes and installed mine after the headliner was in place.

If the power cable is 6 gauge from the battery all the way to the starter, that is too small and can't move enough current. Usually the battery cables just in the engine compartment are 4 gauge. Correct. Some US 510s have that system, but not all. Early years do not for sure.

Idle? What rpm? I've seen comments before that 20 is adequate at idle. What's the max, or is 30 the max you are seeing?

My race car (shimmed spring, hi flow pump, L18) makes about 40 at idle.
