make sure that silly little nub of carbon is in the cap; there is a little carbon contact to transfer 'spark' from the center contact to the rotor and if that is missing for some strange reason, your engine will act goofy. Remember that the 3LD uses that long single-piece sleeve bearing, rather than the sleeve bearings at each end of the shaft like all the newer stuff that seems to wear out more quickly. More drag, more reliable, less bleeding edge, works fine...

The weird thing is that I called and spoke with someone at the ISP/Host and they did a few pokey checky things and said we are not near our use limit nor at traffic limits. Messed-up back-line database? Messed-up front-end php scripts for fetching back-line DB items? Will continue to try to discover...
