Re: WTB: Stock Rear Mustache Bar
I'm looking for the later style. As for what happened to mine, when I was doing a bunch of work on the car a while back, I added a reinforcement gusset to help strengthen things up a bit. Knowing what I know now, this was not smart. I'm pretty certain that the mustache bar is made from spring steel ...

Re: What friggin' type of Steering Wheel is this?!?
It's a Personal wheel. The exact same wheel came in my 510 when I originally purchased it and it included the Personal horn button. Same bolt hole orientation with the Nardi/Personal pcd.

Re: Shifter boot that doesn't dry rot in 1 year!!???!?!?!?!?!?
I think that the best shifter boot that I have ever used was an old CV boot. Didn't crack in the ~4 years that I ran it and replacements are very easy to come by.

Re: 2.3L of fun
All tested with the same gauge or VOM? Maybe the reading is just inaccurate.
I'm sure that you have tried multiple testing methods, just hoping for an easy win for you on this.

Just to echo what everybody else is saying, I'm really looking forward to hearing how this turns out. I would love to have that kind of NA power in my dime!

Re: How can you fit duel 45 webers on a 510 with a brake booster?
I believe it was Cannon that made a high rise dual side draft manifold for the 620 that places the carbs above the brake master cylinder. It may be a bit difficult to find one, but it could be a solution to your problem. This thread has a picture of said manifold as an example: https://ratsun.net/to...

Re: Driveshaftshop.com axles ?
I have had a set on my 510 for the last 8 years or so. The only issue that I have had is that I have had to replace the boots a few times, but this is mainly due to my car being lower than most. I am running a Subaru R180 and like that the DSS kit minimizes the number of adapters needed to make this...

Re: What 8 inch front springs do others use?
IMO, desired spring rate really depends on your usage, dampers, tires, sway bar stiffness, engine weight, etc... That being said, I personally use Summit Racing house brand springs. They are inexpensive, so trying different rates isn't a huge financial investment. I haven't tested them to see if the...

Stop watching the three letter news media they are biased toward Biden. If Trump is your enemy all I can say is "Know your enemy" Find out more that the news does not talk about. Now You-tube, twitter and Wikkipedia is censored also. There's a lot of wrong going on outside your bubble. To...

Where did that swaybar come from? What are the spec's on it (diameter and wall thickness) I am looking into redoing my swaybar setup and this looks like a nice solution that would work well for me...as long as it's stiff enough.

Mcmaster also sells stuff that is very similar to the stock edge trim. The pattern isn't exactly the same, but it still looks the part.

Re: KA24DE - 2000 Nissan Frontier
Another guy here with a dual cam KA in my 510. Mine is from a 240sx, which is architecturally different than the truck KA (truck KA's don't have a crank girdle, piston oil squirters, and have a different front cover/distributor drive), but I would imagine they have pretty similar driving characteris...
