Now have modern brake pedal feel and IMHO
Good brakes. Had a friend wire up my VW vacuum
Pump and vacuum switch. Should have done this years ago

Car looks great Peter- care to elaborate a little on the VW vacuum pump setup on your brakes? Are you using VW master or??

I am using generic VW/Volvo electric vac pump with
Adjustable hysterisis (deadband - on off)
I have a Datsun 280c 1" bore mc, r32 4 pot calipers with
280mm discs. Akebono factory ceramic pads that came with used calipers.
Rear are nissan r31 calipers with standard gct bendix pads.
If anything now may need better quality pads on the rear to do a bit more work or an
Adjustable bias valve.

Hopefully that helps if not ask away.

Thanks

Peter,

You seem to be putting in a bit of work on TUF 510 lately! ironing out all those bugs that have been hanging around. Car is looking good as always.

Keep it up mate!

Thanks Dan,

Yep, since I didn't go to the Datsun nationals at Phillip Island
I wanted to get the coola behind the grill, upgrade the 20 year old brass copper radiator
and connect the vacuum pump I bought from summit when the oz $ was above the US $

I'm hoping to one day to also have the electric power steer like in the yellow coupe.

It just makes driving it more enjoyable for the next decade or so

Hi Pmk
I didn't order them. They are in stock at allmusclecarparts in sydney Australia.
They had just arrived from overseas. I'm sure they will be available in the USA very soon
Along with the hoods, fenders, rocker panel etc.

box says 68-73, but aren't the 68's different. wonder if its the same stampings as Futofab's supplier?
its not the having. its the doing...

Yes I'm pretty sure it's the same supplier. I think futofab is a authorised
Dealer from the people that got these parts made.
I think these are for the 70 -72 model
