Sushi sushi SUSHI!! (was: saturday, Saturday, SATURDAY!!!)

Post by Rehs »

Ok, there's been talk of a Sushi gathering for some time now and seeing that no one has stepped up to organize one, I'm gonna post this.

WHO WANTS SUSHI?
Target location is Richmond Sushi on Sexsmith and Capstan in Richmond.
Dinner Menu is $20.95 or Deluxe Dinner Menu $22.95
Late Night(9:30PM-1:30AM) is $12.95

I have some ideas,
1) is to all gather up after the monthly meeting this Saturday and head into Richmond Sushi for a late night all-u-can-eat fest.
2) is to meet up this Friday and hit Richmond Sushi Late night All-u-can-eat. Possibly dinner if you guys want to pay that much.
3) is to meet before the meeting around noonish and have lunch which is $10.95 I believe +$3.00 if you want sashimi.

Let me know if any of these options are do-able for you guys. I'm leaning towards option one if you guys can do it. I'll need a head count to make reservations. Let's make this happen!

PS: i'm buying :D

Hey Andrew, great idea - bad weekend :S
Stupid ice racing always getting in the way... i even remeber the meetings, and still can't go!
(I guess if i forgot about them, we'd be all in trouble! okay, only i would be, and would likely be lynched too.)

Anyways - eat lots for me! I'll be eating Chinese buffet at some point I'm sure this weekend - it will have to be close enough!

As for the meeting - yes everyone, the meeting is this Saturday, SATURDAY, SATURDAY!!!
It was in you November newsletter that you received to long ago... seems that way anyways. Some people didn't even get one! eh, Andrew?

The good new though, is if you go to the meeting, at Byron's spacious castle, you will not only get the newest newsletter, but you will also receive you belated Christmas present from the club! That's right, it's a double whammy of a meeting - THE CALENDAR and a NEWSLETTER! It's too bad i won't be there to see all your happy faces *sniff* Take pictures! Just like Korean school girls. (not OF... LIKE...)

have a great weekend!

OK, News Flash....

Meeting will not be at my house!
Just got a call from work, I'm headed out of town tomorrow - figures, I've been slow at work for two months, and then get called out on the weekend that we hold the club meeting at my place! Murphy never takes a break!
Stay tuned, meeting location TBA tomorrow evening under new post. Paul and Aron have been informed; I can't even be here to do a call out.

probably to late for that. though would have been a good idea with the weather...
and i still wouldn't get to go!

The meeting has been changed to Aron's place in Surrey. A call out has started, and will re-commence tomorrow. And I know Aron would love to have a great turn out - he's got the space, there' lots of things that could be discussed, and he gets to be every position on the Exec - his moment(s) to shine! Not too mention he has a project to drool on.

If you hven't been there, give Aron a call for directions. It's super easy though, it's right off 88th Ave and around 165th St.

I guess we aren't gonna have a sushifest this weekend. We can figure something out at the meeting. I was wondering if someone could bring along or pass someone an extra copy of the October newsletter for me as I did not receive one on the cruise. I have a November, was there a September issue? I don't recall ever seeing one. If there was, can I get one of those too please? Thanks guys, I'll see you guys at Aaron's house... Except of course those who can't make it.

Byron, safe travels and Rich, have fun on the ice!
