OCTOBERFAST 2006

Post by bertvorgon »

:D Well, it's that time of year again to start to plan our last drive for the season. See those gorgeous fall colours up in the mountains.

I am throwing this out now, as I see some dates coming up that could work.

I think either: OCTOBER 7th (Thanksgiving weekend)or,
OCTOBER 14th

Weather is one of the biggest factors, so, a tentative plan should be agreed upon, and an alternate in case of rain.

I would plan that we go all the way to PRINCETON,. and back the same route, having lunch in PRINCETON.

So, lets see what works for the most people. We were missing a few on the last drive, so there are a bunch that would like to make it.

I don't care which weekend, I'm in short of being strangled by my wife!

Don't worry Jason, the strangling comes after the driving... I know from personal experience.

when does people's insurance start running out? I know Byron's already has. Anyone else planning to park their car for the winter soon?

Mmmmm, either date works for me - cost for the permit is the same. If the rally car is still here, it's free as well. Of course this is work permitting as usual, but things have been a bit slower this year. 8)
I'm in, I'll need a days notice to get the permit - and permission to get my mother in law out of bed at some ungodly hour to retrieve my car from her retirement condo storage spot - and simultaneously wake up the entire neibourhood with that awesome Bronze car!!!! I’m likin’ this!!!
