Flex Plates

I am driving a 72 wagon as my daily driver and slowly but surely the bad spot in my ring gear is getting worse. The car has an origional L16 with a Jatco automatic, I have in my parts the flex plate from my 70 which had the Borg Warner auto. Does anyone know if the flex plates are interchangable, they are both for L16 five bolt but are for different trannys. Thanks guys.
