Post pics of your dime and your wheel and tire mesurments

Post by kemmer »

I am looking to make a good reference guide to buying wheels and tires for the 510s. So list wheel and tire size and offset. As well tell if you have flairs and about how much it is lowered if at all. If you can, post a pic or a link to a pic. Make and model to tire and wheels would be cool too.
Thanks
Jon

My car has 15" Riken wheels, zero offset, with Yokohama 032r's, 205 X 50 series, in the "S" compound. Hard to say how much it has been lowered, but, the front airdam, with those 23" tall tires, is about 5" off the ground. On my race tires, the car's airdam has about 3" of clearance.

Don't know what year, but they are the stock wheels from a mitsubishi starion. Not sure of the offset either. all I know is that you have to grind the inner ring of the mounting area a little to make them fit. and it's fairly tight, but with the ZX struts and 195/60/14 they fit snuggly. was lowered about 1 inch.

215-50/13's on American Racing Libre wheels which are 13X7 with zero offset. Car used to sit 1 inch lower, but I couldn't get it into my apartment parkade!! It's to nice to leave on the street, it'd probably walk away on it's own.

195-60/14's on 280ZX 14X6 with 25mm offset. I used 6mm spacers on the front 280ZX struts to bring the wheels to the edge of the fender. Also ran 5.5 deg caster, 1 deg negative camber up front, 1.5 neg camber on the rear to clear the 4dr rear door jam.

Just to throw this out there...
<br />175-70/13's on 13X5.5&quot; slots. Serious ground clearance, possibly more than stock!

1985 300zx na 15x6.5 +30mm
P225/50HR15 BFGoodrich euro t/a. front needed 10mm spacer on my 200sx struts, rear on a sedan would need rear fender lips rolled and one side would need a 5mm spacer for tires this big.....these wheels will fit no problem with 195/50r15.

i dont think they will since they only make 14x7 rewinds in -9 offset. the 0 offset 15x7 cuts really close to the fender
