We got a resin printer at work. For testing I drew up a Datsun Roadster heater control switch knob. Black is the OG one. The orange is version 1 clear is the latest version. I later printed it in black but that's pretty boring.

This is a rad thread! I've only worked with FDM but I've made an assortment of bits for my build; carb linkage ball joints, quarter window wedges, shifter bushings, lock knob bezels, door linkage clips, screw inserts for the c pillar vents, grommets, hole plugs, etc.

Rush how did you do the badge? Did you scan it? Find matching font?

I printed this a while ago. For my buddies datsun roadster, RHD parts are impossible to find. So we scanned and printed a LHD one then mirrored and printed it. I love 3D printing. I print stuff all the time. So handy. I printed a thin wall long nut to hold down the remote garbage disposal button in my sink. The threads weren't long enough and they didn't sell the part I needed. It even worked first try! The SLS printer at work prints amazing. Even the threads worked perfectly.
