Turning 50

Post by bertvorgon »

This year has my 510 turning 50, January 1/73!

I have had this car since the winter of 1977/78, after my 1972 was wrecked on the Sea-to-Sky highway.

I am second owner on the car, having gotten it as a woman traded it in for a new VW at a North Shore VW car dealer.

It has done me well over those years, even after my BIG OFF at Westwood. I can't thank Andy & Tracey at Specialty Engineering for keeping me rolling all these years!!!!

I guess that means Ole Blue, my '68 3-on-the-tree 1300 car turns 65.
I guess he can retire this year without penalty!!
