510 wagon build

Been meaning to get on here and post for awhile but have been abit slack. I’ve been building this wagon for awhile now. Its nearly finished with the panelbeater, but probably 18 months away from driving.
This is the day i bought it, then stripped and how its sitting now.

Im fitting a fj20et to the wagon and have opted to use the maddat setup as its local to me and I’ve used their products on a previous build. Heres the intercooler and radiator fitted up.

Motor which is currently getting built, and new rb25 box






The motor was in a mates car many moons ago and was running when removed but im chasing abit more power so its getting built with all the good bits.

Used reproduction guards, bonnet, rear door skins and front valance. The fit was really average so the beater has had to stuff about alot.
Before and after guard to bonnet fit.

Have moved the rear wheel tubs in to the rail to allow for more room.








I’ll be running watanabe 16x7 fronts and 16x8.5 rears

Recently purchased a haltech comp and ic7 dash with a 3d printed surround to keep it looking originalish, after all it is 2022 not 1999.

Engjne build has started, fj20et, stroked to 2.2, garret g30/770 turbo, plasma man intake.
