what struts are these?

I haven't seen zx strut original backing plates in decades. but I don't remember the holes?

are these or what are they? the tube is 13 7/8 long
t3 coilovers.

They look like my S12 struts/brakes. Any p/n's on the tubes? Mine are Atsugi 54302-04F02 (R) and 54303-04F02 (L). The backing plates have the holes, and the calipers look similar. What is the diameter of the steering knuckle cup in the bottom of the spindle casting? S12 is 54mm while 510/280ZX is 40mm.

I thought s12 but hadn't seen backing plates before. I have those on my car but came bare.. looks like bushings added

other than pilot are they same as zx brakes offset?

Do you have a better picture of the caliper?

The S12 does have 5 holes in the splash guard.

I suspect those holes were done as a form of cooling on the inner side of the rotor, to get some air flow.

My Honda Odyssey has something similar, as the year(s) before mine, Honda had a problem with warped rotors. Consumers ate it big time over the problem, but Honda just said wear and tear. Then, in 2013, they put in cooling vents and problem went away..typical!

They are closer to 510 offset.
