Datsport rubber question

Post by iceman510 »

Anyone have a better description or photos of what these two are? I recall the pieces that go inside the fender at the outside of the lights. I think that description is the first one. I don't know what the second is.

SFR51G-12 Front Fender to radiator support panel. . . . . . . .. . . . . . NEW ... (2) seals

SFB51G-12 Front fender to body frame seals . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .NEW ... (2) seals

Source page for reference (that most are familiar with): https://datsport.com/rubbers-510-2door.html

Thanks.

The fender to body frame seal goes across the to pinch where the fender bolts to the frame.

Gotta be the fender seal (long flat one with a tiny lip that runs along the outside edge of the inner fender)

and the front seal that I believe used to actually connect to the top fender seal and just seals the front vertical portion of the fender to the radiator support. Looks like they foregoed merging the two pieces.

I've got both here in a box somewhere, I can take them out and photograph them for you if you like?

That would be great if not too much trouble.

They were near the top of the box so no problem at all.

SFB51G-12 was hard to photograph because of the size, but if you've ever had your fender off, it sits along that ridge line and the gasket has holes for the fender bolts to go through.

Hard to get the whole thing but found this online and it looks like that:

Thanks, that makes if very clear. I don't think I have ever seen a 510 with those long fender gaskets.
