I have seen it before. I think it was at Byron's for 510 day one year. That fuel pump setup with the lines hanging like that looks a bit sketchy.
If no one from the future comes back to stop you from doing it then how bad of a decision can it really be?

I was told Don sold it to Dan for 5k.. that wasnt long after that robynn had posted looking for storage for him.

No idea why he wouldn't have posted it here but to each their own.. no idea why he sold it so cheap.
Ive never seen it in person

Now what would make that car look 100X better is a racecar decal sticker package and a giant wing.

While we each have a vision for what we build, time has gone by when the box flare IMSA GT /GTU car was the flavour of the day.

Here is a pic of Eddie Chan's back in the 70's and my thread with some more pictures

I don't remember, I have asked an old Solo compatriot, who used to run with me in that time period.

We had such an eclectic mix of cars then, NOT the cookie cutter shit of today's cars.

Japanese, German, English, French, Formula Fords, Dune buggies, American Iron, the odd truck, station wagons, all ran in those days, truly a "run what yah brung time."

It looks like a Ford Capri, Toyota, Vauxhal, but, the side marker light does not match up, nor the side rear window profile.

Before the Japanese cars really hit Vancouver, there were a ton of English cars here. Hell, I had that 1948 Austin A40 as my first car, in 1967.

We will see, kinda fun to figure it out.

Here is another picture, you can see the car way in the background, far to the right. You can see my Brown 1972 in the background, hood up.

The white Anglia #333 was the big dog at the time, took me a few years to finally beat him, Randy Custer was the owner and I believe he still has it. He ran it at Knox Mountain Hillclimb too.

See, I said this would be fun.

The White ??? (333) is Randy Custer's Anglia. He gave me a ride one day and that was the trigger to go to race tires! He used to get the used Formula Atlantic qualifying tire for $25.00 each at the time. He hooked me up to get the fronts from the Atlantic guys.

Some were pretty worn when we got them but, it got me learning to drive on race tires. Being fronts for a stupidly light car was not the best of course on a 2,200 lbs 510!

But, the loading then pointed out the extreme deficiency of my suspension, thus leading to the advancement of what I have to day.

That one picture is when the Mullholland Suspension was in there...BAD! The shocks were terrible.

First thing pointed out was roll stiffness. The White MGB was my nemesis as I ended up in their class and again it took me a few years to finally put them behind me.

It's funny when I look back at what were the top tires of the day, the equivalent of my Yoko 048's, they look like snow tires!!!!

No...that was my 1972, it got wrecked at Porteau Cove on the Sea to Sky, 1977, when a young fellow ran me off the road and I rolled the car taking evasive action. I was not hurt thanks to roll bar and comp seat belts!

I had really finally gotten that car working quite well.... :( :( :( :(

After that is when Andy really came into my life and the rest is history, as he helped me build my 1973 through the winter of 77/78.
