gas is dirt cheap, very few cars on the road, anyone wanna go for a rip? :mrgreen:

Sure. But I think I heard they closed the boarder between me and thee? I haven't actually gone to verify that but I'd be down for it...

Not yet Mike, staying at home to look after my wife after her full knee replacement surgery and I am self quarantining to avoid getting sick in ANY form, as I am primary cook, and caregiver.

As this thing progress's (virus) we may see events like Knox cancelled, it is only a couple of months away, who knows but nothing will surprise me this spring and early summer.

I'm glad I have been mentally planning some solo drives or just a small group staying out of busy traffic situations this year. I and my motor spent way to many hours trying to claw through traffic congestion.

just insured the 2dr but it will need a few shake down runs and new o rings and oil in the struts....but first I need to find a shop with some blue ray 30w shock oil

I just walked into a local bike shop an picked up the 20w BellRay that I wanted. I did put ATF in the sedan I had because it was planned that my wife would be driving it. ATF doesn't come in a standardized 'weight' but somewhere between 7 and 12 w and it does have anti foam additives. If weight is weight would engine oil do? or would it foam too much, or not at all?

I had a few guys say they would run 80/90 back in the day but i think that would feel a little wooden. the 20w matched ok with the nissan rally comp spring but there was a bit of a bounce once hot. 25w would be ideal. 30 works right for the heavier specialty springs.

i bet if i went out into the valley I could find some .... the shops I hit up before have folded

At the time I modded stock struts, I ran Belray 30W fork oil. It was ok other then the stock bump/rebound is not perfect, but, it did the job back in the early days of suspension tuning.

Was way too stiff in the winter, when I still drove my car on the road.

Knox Mountain Hillclimb cancelled for this year. Will have to plan out a different drive this year, maybe do that big loop up the Canyon to Ashcroft to Merritt, then 5A to Princeton and back down the Hope Princeton, take a picnic lunch to maintain "social distance"...Cripes.

NOPE! Just a LONG ONE!!!!!

6 hours there say, a few hours to visit and eat, 6 hours back...same as a long day in the 510 saddle. I would do that in the G35,
might as well be comfortable and have some good tunes playing...ROAD TRIP>

gas was 86.9 in abby today. i'm ready for a drive, the slime's not ready but the 350z is.
