yes still have the DPracing style 510 pedal assy for someone else to use..
IT'S ALIVE finally! now so onto seat mounting then can dyno tune it.

having some issues with Iac allowing too much air when all the way closed and can't get idle below 900.. when I remove to test and put carb cleaner in the port it doesn't leak and works with a power probe to open and I can see the cleaner move across so seems to work.. for now going to put a restriction in the line but for some reason temporarily stumped...

well got some cheapo amazon overflow tanks and made them fit the 510 .. then got a Freddy catch can.. welded a mount on. welded a baffle in. welded up a few extra holes and then drilled and tapped for -10 An fittings..
and got "fatsun " back from repainting engine bay.. since I didn't do a separate thread for it.. its almost a twin to this one mechanically.. but more turbo and custom touches added by Dave at the bodyshop.

catch can finally done and heated up a colored AN fitting to make it gold.. turned in lathe and pressed into valve cover..
gonna try heating up purple oil fill cap and see what color it changes to..

been waiting on bodyshop and theyre like 8 mos behind it seems-- last year the goal was to have BOTH painted by April -- now mine is supppposed to go in end of this month..
Fatsun is making progress will post pics of it this week- brake lines done- to install a seat this week to bleed the brakes and starting on wiring-- dash about to go in later today.-- priorities-- i have tennis every tues and thursday 9 to 11..so no work till after 1.
once i make the rest of the throttle pedal and mount the cable - exhaust is half done and rad and fuel lines got clocked and crimped last week- theyre installed - i realisically shoud have it running within 2 weeks - i need to power the ecu and run the engine harness- only thing to add to harness is the flex fuel wiring as those dont come prewired in the wiring specialties harnesses - oh and wire in a boost controller -- i sure ive forgot something but its starting to come together

got some trunk torsion springs.. thanks to Guy (insitu AZ).. the tool I've used for a 66 mustang works perfect.. not even 5 min and in.. just need a 12" or longer flat bar with one hole for leverage and twist in. il do car #2 monday..

I’ve watched a couple videos on removing torsion springs in the trunk, but only on a Mustang/Cougar. Looks like your tool is very similar to what I’ve seen on YouTube. When you install the next set, can you take a picture of where it holds the spring?

finally got registered into my name. took forever. the registration # was reissued as this car was never insured. ever!
I knew it was a early race car. but didn't know if it was a street car for a couple years first..
this confirms that it was Never insured for street use. so it was a racecar since birth!
kinda sad in a way that I'm putting it back on the street . but cool that I'm the first person to insure it.. 50 years later..
I guess that's why all the parts I have with it look like it was the poster car for the how to build your datsun book. eventually il find a vintage dime home for those parts.

Thats awesome. Mine was out of the system for 14 years in California and the tittle had been lost. It was a lengthy process to get it in my name. Any how congrats! Great build Cartel .

been busy on Fatsun. tennis and a buick GN 1000hp.. and working on a friends 66 chevelle with a wegner LS7 just shy of 1000..
bought some turn plates that I've wanted for years so do my own caster setup now.
did Fatsun last week .will do mine next week.. still waiting on body shop
