The orange one - California or not, still has the same rust we deal with here I see. It's a rare find to see 620's with the factory seam in the box lines. But I've seen this truck before...
It looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you on this one.

The green one is cool, and glad you got the wheels with it - they totally make the truck! His ad on CL specified that the wheels didn't go with the truck, so I'm glad you turned that around. Not sure about the flares. I presume these are to cover up the crazy wide wheels and likely rust in the fender wells, and it looks good. Almost makes it look like a Rotary PU with the squared off flares. Hope to see this one at the local shows this year Alveen.

Thnx Byron.actually i bought tht green truck in richmond which sat since 1993.i only bought it for the wheels and tried selling it right away. No good bites on it so i put the sale down.now my plans are stripping both the trucks and grab the best parts and put on the orange truck for myself.then I'll get the green truck painted to its original colour yellow and sell it.off course my favourite colour lime green.orange one has lots of dents and bruises which will take some time to straighten up.
Looking for all window rubbers for my orange king cab if someone has handy laying around.

Ah just found the post about the truck. The bed seam continued into the 720s until '85 when a one piece wall was used. Sad as this was a common rust out area. The grill is the earlier, but I think much better looking one than the '78-'79. My '78 grill was one of the first things I got rid of. Wow this is quite the collection of Datsuns!

Nice looking trucks! I notice your yellow one has an aftermarket sunroof. If in the event you wanted to restore it I happen to know where there is a king cab roof clip, for the right price. Its located in Calgary so you would have to arrange someone to pick it up.
