I acquired this car from the man who built it in Oct 2016. Since that time, nothing has changed except the shift knob, oil change, and replacement of the belt for the power steering pump.
Let's be clear, this car is a running, driving, essentially turnkey automobile, not a basketcase project. And it is melt-your-brain FAST. It was built and the parts selected to make it a reliable, maintainable driver. I have driven it around 1000 miles in the last year with no issues. However, it's obviously not a finished product cosmetically (depending on your goals, I guess).
All lights and gauges work as intended.
So some background: I obtained this car intending to turn it into a usable semi-daily driver. The 4-door setup was intended to increase its practicality for every-day use, and it has the nice stuff for comfort like power steering & brakes, heat & A/C. However, my plans for the next 5-10 yrs of my life have evolved over the last year and I do not believe I will have the time, money or space to work on this car in the foreseeable future. So, it may happen someday, but it's a waste to have it sitting around in the meantime and I would prefer that someone who can appreciate it and do it justice in the near term take advantage of it.
My goal is simply to break even on this car -- and I think I got a decent deal when I obtained it, so make me an offer. I'm not looking to fleece anyone here or squeeze every last dollar out of it. However, please don't waste my time if you're not willing to follow through and execute on your offer.
Some details off the top of my head:
Includes tons of replacement trim and interior pieces (including a new dashcap, rubber seals, etc.) ready to re-do the interior.
SR20DET Notch Top @ around 340 whp/tq @ ~16PSI
6MT original to engine
Borg Warner T3
Front & Rear Wilwood Power Disc Brakes
Rack & pinion power steering (see build thread)
RaceLogic Traction Control System
PCS D200 Dashlogger
Working Heat & A/C
Extras include:
Replacement weather stripping
Replacement window trim
Replacement front dash
Full power window/locks/alarm kit
