installing Datsport 510 wagon's rear main hatch seal

Has anyone Installed the rear main hatch rubber weatherstrip seal from Datsport on the 510 wagon? Much appreciated any information. Wagoneer

Has anyone Installed the rear main hatch rubber weatherstrip seal from Datsport on the 510 wagon? I am having some issues regarding the hatch hinge binding down and pulling the seal out of the metal groove. I'm sort of wondering perhaps I'm not putting it in the correct direction. Much appreciated any information. Wagoneer
