Best quote so far in the series "I think we all know deep down that this thing is destined to be wrapped around a tree pretty soon after completion"

I sure hope not!

Admittedly, the comment caught me off guard. But they did build a genuine AWD Mini with one of the best motors out there - it needs to be properly flogged!

properly enjoyed that, they spoiled us, 2 episodes so close to each other.

loved the "found a leak" bit.

Jeez... is that build still going on? Man that's epic. I stopped watching years ago due to the little too excessive (for my attention span) breakdown of details. I'll definitely catch up now.

For anyone looking for something similar, very interesting, and quite a bit more fast-paced (bonus, there's a good 6+ month already in place if you're new to it), watch Stance Works Ferrari 308 KA swap (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDBaiG ... n67BgXgPRg). REALLY cool build.

I'm realising more and more that private video entries are becoming more niche and, for me, more interesting, than typical 'car shows'. I do like MotorTrend App/shows but some of the YouTube content really gets down into interesting details, and their mistakes.

those power steering lines... yeesh!

perhaps the trans oil bypass kludge should have received an inline filter.

That's a K24 not a KA. Honda vs Nissan. Still interesting, but not exactly the same thing.

I rewatched the first couple episodes for fun. So funny. "We will have this car at the track in a couple months" 8 years later....
