We had a female Orca wash ashore a few miles north. Some dick cut the teeth out over night.

Sadly, I saw on the news tonight that the cat was hit and killed by a truck on the hiway.

Had an actual tiger loose for weeks (and a lynx loose for hours) here 10 years ago:

Owner actually served some time for lying to the Feds about owning the tiger. Then moved to NV so they could keep owning cats they can't take care of.

we just got a kitten that comes from the same family as the escaped at. The one on the Island is a pure wild cat and ours is an offspring of one that was crossed with a Savannah domestic cat (with and good bit of wild in her). They are beautiful cats (wild and domestic) and can make great house cats given the owners pay attention to proper looking after the animal and its habitat. Sad to see it get killed.
