Both Ellie and I had a great time meeting up with you all in Winthrop.
On the way back we saw lots of still burning timber, then when we rounded the corner to see the town or Pateros, the town that got burned so hard in the Carlton fire, we got an air show, with two amphibious tankers touching down without stopping, on the Columbia river and scooping up water. Within a few seconds they were powering down river, taking off for the fire.
That Renault was sure cool!
Brian, I consulted with the neighbors on that gantry crane, they think it's a bit overkill!
We sure will try next year to get to the all Nissan show in Vancouver.

You have to fill us in on your brake failure! Glad you got it sorted out.

How early are we hitting the road Saturday? I'm trying to plan my sleep schedule (lack thereof)
Jordan, when the camber on one side varies that amount it is usually due to a bent arm.
Mainly occurs on the passenger side. The passengers side is prone to
damage from rough edges of the road & hitting the kerbs.

Great pictures.
It was a great drive, really enjoyed it.
I have to recognize that fuel injection has its benefits, one of them is high altitude compensation.
My Webers were not happy at 4860 feet, I should have changed jets,. Next time.
It was fun on the way back when Keith, Byron and I were chassing the guy on the motorcycle.

My alternator lasted until I got to Langley, then it packed it in, but i managed to get home on the battery.
James followed me almost to my house, just in case. Thanks James

Took the alternator off, the stater came loose from the housing.
It was a new (not rebuild) Bosch alternator made in China. Junk.
Well I got another new one, lets see how long it lasts.

Thanks for letting me tag along
Paul

Hey Paul, when you pulled up next to me at the light and took off there were sparks coming out of your engine compartment. I guess that poor 'ol alternator didn't like those 8,500 rpm shifts!
Glad you made it back ok.

James
