How frustrating is that. You have a high dollar FAST car and some retard in a junk Honda goes way too fast, dives in on the inside and T-bones you. PAY UP SUCKA'

Crew Chief Mick is the man behind the scenes. Here he is pushing the car out of the paddock with Rob lending a hand. Light-weigh clutch assembles don't like dead stop starts.

Stretch did alright for starting at the back of the pack. He got by at least five pull toys in this session. Brakes and suspension are good but the car is really lacking power. Hello Rebello?? :P

Morning all,

Well, that was a Dam fine day! It was really hot, I had 110F. in my car at one point. Inter-cooler discharge temp was 90+ all day, even on the highway. Car ran fine other than one weird starting issue, I'm going to pull the battery and just get a load test done on it. If battery ok it is either the ignition switch or the starter motor. It started fine the rest of the day, so who knows. Fans delt with the water temp, so I should be good for another hot run to Winthrop.

It was great to see the old HL510 that was Dave Humphreys back in the frey. I had a few good races against it a long time ago.

James very much summed up the Specialty shunt, too many "Chimp-R-Us" out there for sure. Same situation took out Collin in the Gt3 240 a few years ago.

The trip back to the plant was great, as we used the new South Perimeter road, which was so less stressful than going through Langley that time of day! As long as nothing has happened on #1, that will be our return route in future drives from the valley.

That was a great cruise. Looking forward to more. Only problem I had with the car was after Lunch, the Billet Aluminium shift knob was burning hot!! Going to have to make a little " Hoodie " for it before I head down to California.

Wish I could have made Mission, but I didn't sleep well the night before. Was pretty fried when I got home. Laid down for a quick nap around 4:00 and woke up at 9:30 PM!!

I'll host up my pictures on Photobucket soon. Good to meet you guys and I really enjoyed the day.
