I would drop the price to $24,000 but I would keep the VTO wheels and tires but include this set of APPLIANCE MAGS which are mounted to brand new Uniroyal Rallye GTS P175/70R13 & c/w chrome lug nuts and caps.

I am sending link to Bring a Trailer, if they don't put up I would do it myself if I were you, ,may attract the high level buyer you need. Not sure if you tried Hemmings yet, but also gets the higher level buyer. Good luck with the sale.

As far as I am concerned the car is worth it. Try and build one for that price. The time and attention that it takes to accomplish a look like that has the car reasonably priced.

Do they still have the classic car trader?, I haven't checked but in 90s it was popular in Southern California :-)

Beautiful car!
I have sold my BRE #46 replica street car on EBAY.
You need to get it on bring a trailer and Ebay at the same time. This combo will give you the largest audience that you are trying to reach. The 510 Realm is not your audience. The person buying your car will most likely be a first time 510 owner, or owned one 25 years ago or more. Yes the car cannot be duplicated for 25K unless you do it yourself. My car could not be duplicated also for the price it sold for. It had a rare BRE intake and Mullholland suspension. It sold for $13,800. Not as clean as your car for sure. But a great driver and head turner.
EBAY and Bring a trailer will tell you the value of your car tommorow in the world market.
Good Luck! :D

Steve gives great advice. You'd be BONKers (cough cough...) not to take that advice to heart. The world is your market, not just here. All the best with the sale.

But they aren't on The Realm, else it would have already sold.

Terry's ads need A LOT of work, they really need to sell the idea of a $25K stockish 510, and they also need to be more widely distributed. Or Terry isn't that concerned if the cars don't sell, which seems to be the case.

Oh, for sure, 99% of the people that pop onto here have limited funds for the most part, I get that.

It is reassuring though that there are the cash buyers out there, who recognize this type of value.

For me, it is another example as I head to get my car valued for insurance purposes. They asked for examples of cars being sold, so I am slowly arming myself with these type of real world sales.

Last place I would advertise my car would be on this site, it would go out onto the broader market place, where it's racing heritage and provenance would be recognized.

Plenty of Realmers have the cash to buy Terry's sedan, or his wagon. But most Realmers already know about Terry's cars, and if no one has bought this car in 9 months here on The Realm, no one is going to. But that was true back when Terry originally posted it for sale (with one picture and two lines of ad copy). So the repeated bumping of this thread doesn't serve any real purpose.

WOW, Stunning car. With the conversion rate as it is, bang on the money too. Almost seems a bargain.
With a well written advert and the right exposure, I'm sure this will be snapped up.
Good luck with the sale.

A picture is worth a thousand words... People don't need a well written ad. Its the photos that catches ones eye and if the car looks good then that is all that's needed to get that interested party to phone.

My next car is a United Pacific reproduction 1932 Deuce coupe. Since I am in the market for a Rod I came across an ad for a 1931 Ford Model A in Red Deer... 1.5 hours away. I looked at the photos and really could care less what was written. I could see what the car had and that was enough for me to make a call and subsequently take a look at it. If a well written ad is a deal maker then I guess I am out of luck selling and I honestly don't care either way. Just gives me more room if I did and I know I would hate to see either 510 go but Its getting to the point that I will have too many cars that don't get driven.
