Looking to run from Camarillo-ish on the 101 up the coast to the 150, head inland to Ojai and continue on the 150 through to Santa Paula. Then up through Balcom Canyon into back into Camarillo. Out maybe 2-3 hours.

Couple cars with passenger seats going spare... You could even bring a steering wheel and pretend you're driving!two_68_510s wrote:I would have to run with the shell strapped to my back!

Starting/Ending point is the Camarillo Metrolink parking lot:

I wish......looks like a cool route...do you get much traffic? My uncle lived in Glendale for many years, before he moved to Tuscon.
We will be doing our drive soon.

Re: Ventura County Low-Key Fun Run
the 101 has the potential for stopped traffic but more towards santa barbara. the biggest threat is CHP, which were thick last week...

Re: Ventura County Low-Key Fun Run
101 is just a transit stage to the 150. That early on a Sunday is unlikely to see traffic anywhere on the route.
That said, if'n we wanted we could do 33 to the 150 and stop quick in Carpinteria, then retrace the 150 as indicated in the link above.
