I'm around for at least a few more weeks, then I think work will start stealing my Saturdays.

I like the sound of August/September, it gives me some time to get work done on the wee beastie!

I'm BACK! Lost in the mountains for a week...30C. during the day...-4C. at night...what a swing!

Yes, lets try to firm up a potential date, I'm not ok for the 14-16th of September, and I think Byron has some trips planned for business.

I am easy for whatever after that, lets get a consensus of what would work for the most.

I came back through the Hope-Princeton, zip for traffic, so I was just in cruise mode in the Honda...on the section of the Highway, where there is the Rhododendron/Sumalo grove walk ( not far from the West gate )...where we have BLASTED both up and down, 4 lanes each way...and there was an RCMP ghost Tahoe hidden in the trees...waiting for the unsuspecting..Yikes~!

Ok, time to get back on the drive.

I think we are going to go up the Sea to Sky, over the Duffy to Lillooet, have lunch, and come back the same way. This avoids that totally boring stretch from Hope in, which we have done a million times, both on our drives and our "civilian" travel.

Now, we have the weekend of the 22/23 open, the 29th may involve some of us and SouthSide Nissan, and then of course into October, all weather dependent.

So.....what do you think? Byron...work schedule?

Hi Keith,

This coming weekend is out (15/16) and I have a commitment on the 22nd for the first half of the day. Nothing on weekend beyond this. Even the Thanksgiving long weekend is clear thus far :D

How's about Sunday the 23rd? That would give us the option for a quickie in October too if the weather is nice ...

I will be good for a drive as long as I can get my lifter noise taken care of. It has been slowly making more and more noise.

OK, now we need to sacrifice a virgin to the weather gods .... Gotta change the fuel pump and check the carb filter too, this cruise sounds like I will need power under load ....

The long range, for what it is worth, looks very good. Are we all in agreement to try to shoot for the 23rd of September?

The temps would be perfect this time of year.
