WOW, that is a while ago, and, look how the video quality was so crappy then. Looks like my in-car videos from the 90's.

My little point and shoot does 4K video. That is one technology that has been good in it's advancement.

RM opens it up to full blast around 2:40; (TRD/Toyota 503E) IMSA GTP engine in a Pike's Peak car. Fun times.

The crazy thing is that the king of the hill for the past three years has been running a Honda K20/K24 engine - a production-based engine from an Acura RSX or a Honda Civic Si-R. Oh jeez!

Wow, comments agree:

You're not wrong. Here I am, safe at home nice and warm in front of the fire and then that happened. I sputtered out some words that would make YouTube spack out and cry, to the point that one of the kids ran in to see if I was ok. My lovely wife has had a grand old time laughing her head off while thoroughly and relentlessly mocking me "it's okay we'll buy you some adult diapers tomorrow, don't be embarrassed, there must be thousands of men in their early 40s who shite themselves watching YouTube videos".... Grumble, grumble

and of course, why not post the video that shows all of the bullshit that the winners dealt with, but they still managed to do what it took to get the overall win.

That was an interesting video.

In my career in mining and precious metals, I used to use a rock crusher like in the video, as the beginning stage of ore preparation for assay. Some rock would be so hard that occasionally a fist sized rock would get fired OUT of the crusher, back at you like a bullet.

The saw mill I worked in at Telegraph Cove had converted from steam to diesel to run the mill, but, all those belts were still the same, super dangerous and could catch loose clothing in a heart beat.

I love those compactors!

If you look really close you can see an L motor on one of those rigs.

Looking for 510's in all kinds of old road racing clips from Europe, but no luck yet.
