Post by sr20ve510 »

Yeah so my passenger side half shaft is lose because the clip fell out somewhere (yes I had to push my car two blocks back to the house, phew) and I couldn't find it. Where the hell do I find another clip for that, and does anyone have a picture of one so I don't have to take my other side off, where can I get one etc....thanks? PLease, thanks..!!!

lmao, we are having a convo on both sites lol....

Right where the half shaft go's into the lsd there's a clip right there.

At least I think there is a clip....my half shaft came out a 1/2 inch and my car wouldn't move

Are you talking about the internal c-clip for the VLSDs? 'Cause the old-school clutch-pack LSDs have bolt-in stub axles, just like the OE 510 does.

And even if you have the VLSD and have somehow lost a c-clip internally...it wouldn't strictly cause a loose halfshaft, it would just be able to pull out. You'd still have drive as long as you didn't overextend your rear suspension.

Perhaps a better description by you of the problem would be in order?
