Who has the blue SR powered 510 in Richmond VA?

Post by five&dime »

I had a friend call me on Friday to tell me someone local has a blue 510 with gold wheels and a very nice SR install. Have I missed this new addition?

Glad to know there is another one in Richmond VA. Please let me know who it belongs to.

I think it's so funny that this is one of the photos on the website. It should have been titled "what not to do"

Another local is featured in a magazine. I think it's either Turbo or Import Tuner. It's a nice silver S15 silvia owned by a real cool girl named Jen. Crazy nice cars popping up in Richmond VA over the past year or so :)

To the person that has the car now, those front seat shoulder belts are not really safe. Anytime the belt goes back down like that, right behind the seat, it will break the collars bones in an accident. Uually there is a cross bar that the belts attach to.

interesting, I have heard the same thing as you, but after looking there seem to be several ideas on what is Ok as far as mounting angle goes.

Takata seems to think that angle is OK

sparco does not, they say 5 degrees down max

Willans says 20 Degrees down max

Personally I would err on the safe side but the range is interesting
