Well here is a brief brake down of what I have done. It all started about a two years ago on Craigs list for 800. It had been hit in the rear tail light panel but the rest of the car was straight and solid. I started to strip the car to it shell and prep it for the sand blaster. I seam welded the entire cars under carriage and engine bay. Looking at the way drift cars are being set up I chose to spot weld every ¾ of an inch or so. I filled approximately 40+ factory holes in the engine bay and throughout the car even some I now have to re drilled argh. I fitted the inter cooler and Rad and some other odds and ends. It then went to American Stripping ( not like #5 Orange ) for blasting and primer. Some of the parts I thought were solid soon showed there ugly side and were replaced with swap meet finds and re blasted and primed. I Foam Filled the uni body cavities with Handy foam as seen in sport compact car. I will tell you how this works out after I drive it because I am not sure at this time if it was a good idea or not. If I were still living in Vancouver I would say not a good idea. I Painted the undercarriage of the car with hammer tone it has the texture of a light rock guard. I would like to have lynex the under side but was unable to locate a rotisserie to do so at the time. The car then went for paint my kids got to choose the color and since there favorite color is orange I picked the model car it was to come from. The parts list at this time is as follows and there is so much more to do and I am sure I only scratched the surface of what needs to be done to it.

SR20det S15 with 6 speed
Escort Racing intake and throttle body etc.

TSR Radiator and dual fans
TSR Inter cooler

TSR 68 Front Cross member boxed and Flipped
TSR center link
TSR TC rods

TSR Front struts with adjustable inserts, Tein camber plates

TSR front and rear brakes 13” front and 11” rear
TSR brake Lines
TSR fuel Lines
TSR Trans tunnel

TSR Trans mount

TSR R200 rear diff mount

TSR gas pedal
Design Products Racing Adjustable Rear Cross member
Design Products Racing bearings for solid mount trailing arms.
DBM Enterprises polyurethane rear cross member bushings
Image
Troy Ermish rear coil overs
Phill Lee’s hood shocks
Energy suspension polyurethane mounts at rear diff and front a arms

Funny how this fascination all started out from when I was 16 years old looking at a caged BRE flared 2 door and my father said no way.

Didn't one of the TSR guys (datsunboys) have a problem with hood shocks?
His hood got all jacked up, maybe that's just the way it looked in the pics
and probably not the problem at all. Ever since I saw the pic I have
strayed away from hood shocks.

Yes that is Kevin Neely's car. A very sad day in deed. He told me that the hood was not latched correctly or not at all for that matter. This is the only one that I have heard this happening to with this modification. It is now repaired and will be at motoring J style this weekend I am sure he has done even more to the car modifications to his car since the last time he had it out.
