rear braces,windscreen

Post by dynobones »

You can still pass mvi with rear windscreen braces can you not? I'm thinking of adding them so I can have the look of total squid poser, I think they look cat's ass, plus driving fast with window's down is a blast. Would that be totally gay on a street car? It will pass mvi here. :o

Yeah, I'm really thinking a roll cage is in order as well, I even think hood pins are kinda tacky, but I've got four on the fiber deck and two on my hood now. Maybe I'll get a mesh net for driver's window, uh , let me think about that a while. Nope that would be going overboard.

But it'd be safer.

I wish I had one today. I was pulling off the road that I live on, onto Redwood Highway, and a hub-cap came flying off a tow-truck car dolly. Hah! The thing was spinning, spinning, and I had to deflect it with my arm to keep the friggin' thing from beheading me. NOT! Actually it was pretty good. Hit my window (it was closed) and landed on the ground. I picked it up, followed the truck all the way to Texaco, and gave it back to the guy with a chuckle. He was like "Oh did it hurt the car? That thing is sweet.. used to have one, 4-door. Lowered in the front, had really bad negative camber! IT WAS OLD-SCHOOL!"

I couldn't help but chuckle at this guy. Think of JOE DIRT, and you've got a good depiction of this guy.

enjoy....

Yeah, Atlantic Motorsports Park in Shubenacadie,Nova Scotia is the closest road racing course to me, I wonder if they have a race school for cars, I know they do for bikes, there have been plenty of dimes raced there, I'm gonna find out. This coming summer can;t come too fast, I've driven my car stock for so long it is going to be nutso when it gets rolling next year, big cam,big carbs, big balls,

You installed balls on your car? Hmm. I didn't know 510's had trailer hitches.
