50.00 for the tranny. as 4 speed is not so desirable. The motor is a hard question to answer. As there is a guy selling a full rebuilt 240HP L-20b in Oregon for $600.00
My guess is between 2 and 400.00

I picked up an L18 for 75 bucks.. it turned out to be no good... but nobody knew what it was like...

I picked up the L18 that was in my car for $120. It was alright, but verry tired, and had 0 power, it needed to be rebuilt. You can ask pretty much anyone who went on the duffy lake run.

I've had days like that. Feels like you forgot to warm up your rig on a cold morning and trying to take off in 4th gear. Zero Power... mwahahaha. Kicks the shit out of the competition. (Usually slugs, occasionally a turbocharged germ.)
