Crossmember exhaust hole enlargement
I'm looking to enlarge the exhaust hole in the rear crossmember. Does anyone have a source for 3"ID 1/8 wall tubing? I don't need more than 4" in length. Exhaust shops here in NYC have pipe, but it is too thin. I did find a source a few months ago, but I would have to buy and ship a few feet. Tks

Metal Supermarkets has locations all over the US. https://www.metalsupermarkets.com/ They will cut to length and if there isn't a location close to you they offer shipping.

Water pipe for sprinkler systems? I got 6" of 10" diameter by 3/16 pipe to weld into my 620 cross member to put the drive shaft through. They were installing sprinkler systems in the local Home Hardware store when it was being built. It was a piece of throw away scrap.
