So here's a small update. Car was not tuned. My IACV was not working and to top it off my IAT sensor was not working either. Figured out the IAT sensor issue at home. Ordered a new IACV, found two small fuel leaks as well that I fixed also. Going to use my E-tune service to get the car going since I paid Nismotronics a while back for it. Then later send it to the tuner. I want all the bugs worked out first. Total wast of time and money not being as prepared as I thought I was. But thats new build issues I guess. :? Good part was I was able to drive up it up and off the trailer and into my garage! lol after 8 years of owning the car to have it move under its own power despite the small set backs was pretty exciting

Hey man, that’s awesome progress!! Moving under it’s own POWER! Best to get this debugged while you are near your shop. Hope you get your parts soon! I ordered a new IACV a few weeks ago - 14-16 week delivery interval. Also ordered a new CAM Angle Sensor due to the block being tipped over and cover and internals damaged at some point — I ordered it in May and it got here in October!!! And yes I have now learned patience :)

Just a small update here. I removed the NismoTronic ECU from my car since i'm not going to run it after the issue's I ran into. Didn't get much support from them either to resolve what was going on. Im going Haltech now. Reason for that is there's plenty of tuners in my area who tune with it and are familiar with the software. Spoke with a few guys on IG who are also running it in there SR powered Datsun and love it. So for now im gonna finish installing the front carpet. and catch up on a few other odds and ends that have been waiting to get finished.

Not much of an update. But I did get the center console mocked up with brackets and hardware. Gonna paint the brackets and the console completely black. Then install the front carpet and reinstall the console permanently. I know this console is not for everyone but I like it. I have new shift boot and e-brake boot as well.

Quick update ECU should be here today. I have to re-pin 4 wires on the factory engine harness and change the thread pitch on the IAT sensor bung to work with the Haltech sensor. The bung thats welded on my pipe is also so crossed threaded so its no good either way. Buying some glue from home depot today to finish glueing the front section of the carpet. I don't wanna use the spray glue its to dam messy.

ECU showed up. Im super stoked on this. Finished installing the front carpet. Not to happy with it. But it'll do. Next time i'm going to get one of the molded carpets from eBay. The Datsport trans cover makes it the carpet set weird. I opted to not glue that sections sense it will sit under the console.
Makes for easy access to the transmissions shifter and AFR sensor harness.

I wish Stu, I got the car fired up finally with new ECU via base map. Problem i'm having is it wont staying running for long. So I have to check the injector voltage today to make sure the power isn't shutting off. Then back to a remote tune with Haltech to see if we can keep it running to lock in timing so I can have the car tuned. So unfortunately the answer is no. :( Soon though.
