Yesterday was a double bonus round, spending the day helping with the cars and celebrating Andy's birthday, he and I both hitting 71 this year!
On Saturday Andy had a caliper fail on the Camaro, so he was unfortunately out. He has set a personal best time out there and can see another second in there, hoping to get into the 1:06 time zone.
Collin brought out the 240, leaving the pack in the dust, winning his race. Tracey got caught up in traffic so never had a good chance to catch up to the leader, she placed second in her race.
It was almost a full "reunion" of the original Specialty gang from the 80's and the Westwood track days. We have all stayed connected, which is very cool, with Andy/Tracey and Specialty being our binding glue. 44 years of connection for me. So many funny stories of motor sport related tales, mishaps, blowups and other craziness that befell us all at times.
Malcolm had his 510 out which ran very well. Paul was out with the ex Specialty 510 in vintage class.
I met a few people I had not seen in years, so that is always nice to reconnect. Carol B. brought out her immaculate RX7.

well i had already booked 10 days in osoyoos leaving last wed... then on tues the fires started and never ended up going away-- but due to that didnt prep the car so wasnt ready to go ..
