Yes, I saw that the train was potentially the starter of this one.

My heart goes out to the residents of Lytton today, the news crews have not gotten into the town yet but they are saying most of "main" street is burnt.

With the usual wind in the Canyon it is amazing how fast that fire moved.

Yes Castanet had a driving video posted that doesn’t look like things has much hope 😕

Supposed to go see Noel & M&D in a few weeks, hope things are not full gong show by then, lots lightening up in the Cariboo too.

Yes, the Lyttonnet. lines have gotten burned up and I'm not sure where their office base is, as they serve that whole section of the Fraser Canyon.

The lighting will be bad, when we were up in Manning a weekend ago, it was crazy dry, surprised it took another week for the campfire ban.

Bizarre too that during the winter, Parks re positioned some of the fire pits...putting them so close to trees I could not believe it, really stupid, one spark and the trees are gone. You can see the dead branches on the tree close to the fire and the fuel at the base was huge.

Be sure to say hi to family from us, been a long time since I have seen them.

I will stop posting, but Lytton was on our major route on our canyon trips and drives.

Lots of great road trips blasting up the Fraser Canyon, I have another one coming soon, but it’s fully closed right now. So related but perhaps off topic.

Drove the Icefeilds Parkway last year for the first time, that was pretty epic even pulling the TT, somecreally nice flowing corners with the spectacular scenery to boot.
