What is your goal with this engine? A nice-to-drive mellow motor, or some rip snorting cantankerous thing?

One issue is the size of the clutch. Depends on what the l20b originally came out of. Cars got 200mm surface dia and trucks 225mm. The preferred hot rod setup is lighter is better. So the 6 bolt 200mm is harder to find my nowadays. Ive got a 225 here but getting to the mainland is probably more trouble. I'd expect you can source one closer to home. 200mm thats going to be harder.

What is this noise I hear about a replacement friction surface that is 3 weeks away? That implies Tilton or Fidanza...

Why can't you just have a machine shop mill it down flat??? That's the normal thing to do for damage.

6 bolt mount to crankshaft is a 2 liter and up engine flywheel. Used on all L24/L26/L28, L20B, Z20/Z22/Z24 and KA-E and DE engines and most certainly NOT a stock 510 flywheel. If replacing the wheel you are replacing the PP and friction disc anyway so you can run 200mm, 225mm or even a 240mm assembly depending on what's available. I don't see any advantage to sticking with exactly what you have (what ever it is) so go with either a 200mm or a 225mm. The Z car 225mm is the lightest at 21 pounds. Truck 225mm are about 29 pounds. The 240mm comes in 21 or 29 pounds.

Where are you located?????

Can you have yours machined?

I've got an assortment of 225mm 6 bolt flywheels. Probably still have the 21 pound '79 280zx I harvested. The rest are likely 29 pound. A shop could always drill a smaller base circle so that a 200mm pressure plate would work.

Looks like an after market aluminum wheel. 200mm The center part is steel and removable so it can be machined. But tell the truth it doesn't look gouged up from the disc rivets, or the pressure plate. Some 220 sand paper and a block of wood to take the glaze off and a new PP and disc is probably all you need.

Also two of the alignment dowels are missing that position the pressure plate.
