2020 510 day -- vancouver- ?

Nothing determined at this point. With 2 weeks to go I guess we will come up with some sort of plan, weather being what it will be, at least for me.

Car sure looks good Mark! That was a cool picture at Robyn's place.

My air filter(s) should be here to day or tomorrow then I just have to pin my son down to help with my checking of the methanol system and start the car.

Got my 6 months insurance the other day, had to stand outside while we passed paperwork back and forth through the caged door...WEIRD!

Got home from work, turned on some music(on tv), grabbed a cold one and sat down and this caught my eye:

Ok guys, we’re getting close to the wire - do you Vancouver guys want to some how get together under the current restrictions? We’re small enough to do this, but we still have to maintain some distance.
Firstly - 510 Day falls on Mother’s Day this year... I’ll let you all work with your spouses on that - have it figured out before arriving, maybe bring them for a change!

Drives work, it’s the stopping and gathering that will take work on all of out parts. There needs to be a basic plan in place.

The weather prediction looks gorgeous - and down right warm at 30 degrees.

So, do we meet somewhere, drive somewhere else? How far can we drive? What are the passes like? Do we just keep local and low key?
I’m game for just about anything, within the current restrictions.

Who’s in and what are your thoughts on what you’d like to do?

While I have not actually started the car yet, I am potentially IN.

Hopefully today I am hooking up AEM gauge to power and sensor, but, will fire car on old sensor in place. Might take a bit of cranking, etc to get it to go and I would rather the new sensor sees a light off right away.

I am easy for a low key drive, the 2 main passes will still be crapped up, Canyon would be ok, but, to where do we go? Too early for a BIG loop, at least for me.

As I have not done a shakedown drive yet, would rather stay local in Valley, do a jiggy jog through back roads? End up in the Colossus Theater Langley parking lot and order pizza from Boston Pizza next door?

Damn, like so many things, the damn dam museum is closed, and, after doing a Google drive by, there is a BIG gate at the top of the hill, so dammit, the entrance to the damn dam parking lot, would be shut.
