This was fascinating! We have a babysitter who is in the Formula SAE program at Columbia, and I often chat about the car's development with her.
Can't wait to bring this up next time she's around.
Now, how to bring a variable inlet manifold to the L series..?!

Show her your L-series and ask her what she thinks of a variable length intake for it. Remember to tell her your idle speed as well as your max rpm limit too.
