When I bought my project, the previous owner had a mold to make ducktail spoilers for the 510 so I picked it up with the car. If you're not in a hurry, I could check it out and make one this summer when I have a bit more time to see how it turns out.

I may be in on this, always wanted something on the trunk. Do you have a picture of the mold?

It's hard to take pictures of a mold , especially when I never used it and don't know what the molded product looks like.
Anyway, this should give you a good idea... It's pretty dirty, it needs a good clean up and reconditioning.

My original plan was to make one and seamlessly integrate it to my fiberglass trunk lid to see how it looks.

I asked a friend that makes fiberglass parts for the S13 and he said the mold looks alright and usable. Although, because of how the mold is made, he said he would hate/kill me if I ask him to make more than one

I'll have him make one and see how it turns out. If it turns out good and you guys want one, we'll work something out.

i dont think ive ever seen a dime with a whaletail rear end-- ive owned a couple of Z's way back and they had the whale tail rear - it was popular in the mid 80s..

1 month later... Sorry for the delay guys. The spoiler is done. I'll have it by Monday. I'll check the fitment and post pictures as soon as I can.
