Re: 510 race car
I'm pretty sure it would be this car, as seen in it's heyday at Knox Mountain Hillclimb.

Re: 510 race car
Damm , how did i miss this . Sean is a good buddy of mine . Is the car still around?
Re: 510 race car
The car is still around. Kerry was he last one who raced it. The car was hit on the pass side forward door area fairly hard, taking the car out of circulation. Tech inspectors noted in the log book the the roll cage would need to be changed. I was at Mission when this happened, saw and inspected the car that day. The ruling that the entire cage needed replacement seemed a bit out of line. But once written in the rule book.... The car sat for a few years. Kerry sold the car to Tyson. I’m not sure if the car went directly to Robert or whether it went through anyone in between, possibly Robert can fill us in.
However the log book remains, the car needs to be re-caged in order to race again, unless there has been an update at some point along the way.
I remember when Sean built this car in quonset hut in south Surrey, early on using Ross’s trailer to get it to events like Knox where the photo above was taken. Good times in the early 90’s Be good to see a photo of the car today. It’s been a long time since I last saw the car personally.
