Production Numbers
Production Numbers
I know Byron wanted this, and I thought others maybe interested. I found this page in a book I bought the other day. It was published in '72, so not all the info can be there, but it does cover anything imported into the USA from 1961 up to 1972 (model years). So it doesn't cover the CDM 1967 1300cc 510(PL510) or the 1000(A10).

RE: Production Numbers
Cool Richard, thanks for posting that up.
Re: Production Numbers
Reviving a bit of an old thread while doing research....
Are there final production numbers that anyone has seen published for all the PL510 models? What were the individual total production numbers for the 2dr, 4dr, Coupe and wagon models made in Japan?
And are there stats for the number of PL510 cars made in Australia, South America and Mexico?

There's a scan of an official NoJ notice regarding JDM production, but it doesn't list out by model, just by year. Also states they have no idea what Australia produced.

Re: Production Numbers
That's cool. I really wish they had a breakdown of models and engine. I'd really like to know how many of my car was made, as I'm sure everyone else would too.okayfine wrote:There's a scan of an official NoJ notice regarding JDM production, but it doesn't list out by model, just by year. Re: Production Numbers
I’m just bumping this thread because Carter recently asked questions about his 1300 510 (not a PL or even a P510 - it’s just 510-xxxxxx) it’s a cool car.
If I look at the production numbers which Julian published above, my 1300 P510 was produced in late 67. But in reviewing this thread, I had missed that production of the 510 started in April 67 and was in mass production by June 67 which makes the 67/8 Mindel year run from April 67 to the end of September 1968. Interesting for sure.
