2014 Vancouver All Nissan Meet; August 10th

I'm again proud to announce that the Vancouver All Nissan Meet.
This year we will be only doing the car show in North Vancouver at Shipbuilders Square

Sunday August 10th - All Nissan Meet Car Show, Ship Builders Square, North Vancouver

The show is open to all Nissan vehicles of any vintage.

Classes for the show will be as follows;

Vintage
Classic - Sedan & Wagon
Classic - Sport Coupe
Modern - Sedan & Wagon
Modern - Sport Coupe
Truck / SUV

Vintage being all models not in production from 1970 and earlier.
Classic being models in production from 1970 to 1984

The Shipbuilders Square is a beautiful location, situated on the North Shore of the Burrard inlet with a wharf right out into the water. This site, as the name implies, was a shipyard and made into a park in 2011. The ANM has the distinction to be the first car show at this site upon it's completion. This will be the 4th year we have the show at this location, located 3 blocks east of Waterfront Park where we had previously held the show since 1996. The parking at Shipbuilders Square is on clean concrete right on the ocean’s edge. Amenities close to the site include the Lonsdale Quay which has a full market for food and shopping, as well as the many boutique shops right along Esplanade Ave.

Registration starts at 9am, with ballots being counted at 1pm and awards to soon follow. Cost to register in the show is $20

We look forward to see as many of you attend as possible. We encourage anyone with a Nissan vehicle to attend, it's a great place to meet and show off your ride, and talk with some of the most enthusiastic owners in the area.

Unfortunately the AutoX portion of the event was canceled this year due to a lack of a venue. We look to reincorporate this portion of the weekend into next year’s event.

Ok we are locking it in to stay 2 nights in the Vancouver BC region. The wife wants to stay in some fancy tree houses you guys have in your loverly area.

Byron i thought u guys were going on a different date this year so our shows didnt land on the same date again? Unfortunate to have 2 great shows on the same day, takes people away from your show and our show , and i really want to bring Art up to your show again so people know shes ok and being taken care of . Good luck with the show, was really hoping to see everyone.

Hi All,

Just posted an update at the start of this thread for the All Nissan Meet this coming Sunday.

Weather outlook will be awesome, as we continue to be in this unbeatable weather streak of full on sunshine and zero% chance of rain which as you know in Vancouver is a pretty rare thing.

Guys, I need your help in some last minute promotion here. There are some local Nissan guys with JDM models whom I have been unable to reach year after year. These guys show up sporadically, and I'd like to get the help of the local members to track these guys down. if you have any leads, please contact me. I'd love to see many of the past cars like Presidents and GTR's down to the Figaro's and Escargo's all present at the show this year.

I expect a good Roadster contingent as we've had the past couple of years. I'd love ot see more trucks out there. And there's always plenty of sports cars and sedans to drool over.

Don't worry, the autoX is not gone for good. Just for this year.
For now, I have concentrated on the show as it's still a go.
We have such a great venue for the show, I look want to move forward with it.
So, who's coming? What can we expect to see this year?
One thing we can guarantee is great weather as well, the outlook is simply flawless.

Really hope next year the date is different, sucks having both our shows on the same day that weve done for over 10 years. I even renewed my enhanced license to get into canada again this year before i found out its on the date of our show again feels like i wont be able to come up to canada again and show Art in one of the shows she should be shown in to show people shes being taken care of.
