I went looking for this car, apparently it never had a thread of it's own here.
I know it's a past car, but it seems to come up in conversation once in a while.
And I came across some photos I haven't seen in a while. So I put the scanner to work.
Initially I was looking for photos of the colour, and then it morphed from there. So here is goes, a few photos of the first car I truly restored.
The ones that follow here;
Crater Lk Oregon on the way back from Shasta 96
And a couple shots of the family dog Monte right after paint - done in the shop in the background

Here are some more.
A front shot, not far from the shop where it was painted - rear door handles and other trim not yet installed.
Then 2 shots at Knox in 96.
The first show's Jay B's wagon, Dan K's 68, my 68, Brad J's 68 racer and Sean K's 510 racer - Brad and Sean were running this weekend.
In the last photo, the cars from L to Right are Jamies, Sean K's first 510 racer, my 68 and Dan K's 68.
In behind I see Cam's 2dr and Jay's wagon hatch.

I do have a soft spot for 68's as you can tell.
And yes, that is a Burner. Great dogs, but they have notoriously short life spans. He made it only 6 years.
