just flipping through cable guide and a show called RESTORATION GARAGE on (HISTW) channel 44 here in Port. Coq. is featuring a 1970 Datsun 510 at 9pm tonight (Monday) for all you locals.

I stopped watching the news about a year ago now. Stopped watching TV shows last X-mass. I am so much happier now.

I canceled cable 2 1/2 years ago and my kids benefited greatly. When my wife turned on teletoon and the Disney Channel, I watched it with my kids for a week, had a 20 minute display discussion with the wife and that was the end of cable. We've never looked back, it has been a great decision a day we stand by it.

But I have to admit, when something truly blessed wrong in the world, I miss the BBC and I do miss a few of the programs on Knowledge Network. Bit overall, we're not missing a thing.

I watched a few minutes of that crap. Temper tantrums, security cameras watching the staff and then BIG drama over fender that falls. The 510 had all of 3 minutes SCATTERED through the show.

It's like all the other stupid reality shows, which is an oxymoron because they are ANYTHING but reality.

I deal with all those guys on the Gold Rush/Alaska Gold/Bering Sea Gold shows, and I can tell you, what a load of crap. The REAL miners mine, not throw hissy fits. One of those guys has gone bankrupt, he should have spent more time mining than trying to be a celebrity.

I'm this.far away from cancelling my Shaw cable, as there is NOTHING on, and I pay 700.00 a year, for watching the WALKING DEAD.

If I want to watch a reality car show, I stop in at Specialty and watch the latest creation from Andy, and maybe actually learn something at the same time. Some pretty awesome stuff coming down the pipe this winter......

kieth , just by the dvd of the walking dead,get the whole sesson for 50 bucks or so. i'm going to down load it from psn store 5or 6 bucks an episode.

I agree mostly, but don't forget Football, Hockey and play off Baseball> I would really miss T.V. in October!!! and even 3 sec. off 510 on t.v. is good. I catch myself looking in the background for old cars in any period show or movie.
