Thanks. I also happened across this spreadsheet while googleing. I am assuming that the serial numbers are stamped on the trans somewhere so I can Identify it.

http://www.datsuns.com/Tech/datsun_transmissions.htm
I have collected info from that page, as well as others now. as far as i know, this is the transmission we all talk about as the "dogleg", though there are others. that site didn't refer to the shift patterns, nor list the S10 200SX as the donor. it did list the S110 (could be a typo), but that's wrong (I'm pretty sure), and the H(L)510 and 610 which I've heard had them (nothing in print other than Lum's site)

I'll post a sticky post when I'm all done collecting and confirming facts. I'm almost at 50 RWD transmissions, all "usable" in a 510 :?

We should not forget the comp boxes ratios if you do a comprehensive list. I thought my box had a 2.9 first, then 1.8, 1.38, 1.0 and .862 5th. Does that make sense? I know I had the shorter first gear on my first 5 sp and we thought the taller first in the comp box was better. Is there a site/place that shows the comp box ratios? I think they made three different ones?!

Richard, perhaps add all the numbers from that page
Keith, maybe you have the comp "close ratio overdrive" transmission with the 2.906 first gear?

Thanks Rob,
That is what I have the, Close ratio Comp. Box. Believe it or not, Nissan Comp was BLOWING these things out for 700.00. I should have bought 2!!!! I never wrote the ratios down in my log book. I need to do a new speed in gear chart for myself, as the 032s' are taller than anything I have had before. We chose that box because the slightly taller first gear was better for getting out of some of the goofy slalom starts that had a turn as soon as you got going. This let me not have to shift quite as quick, and get the car settled. Been a good box, considering how many events it has done.

Hi Rob, I checked out that website, and it did confirm, that I also have those steel syncros, same style as the Porsche if I remember correctly. As I see from Jason's post, do the Supra trans all have that tall 5th?

If you wanna talk about the various Toyota gearboxes, let's start another thread to capture all of it...
